While browsing at a local book store, I came across a very interesting book on creating jewelry using beads and wire. Being me, I got right into it and spent way too much money on this new obsession. Regardless of the dent in my finances, the results of my attempts at jewelry creation are on the following pages.

I have now made quite a number of earrings, necklaces and even a bracelet. Most of them are gifts, but I must admit to having kept a few pieces for myself.

All of the jewelry, except for the memory wire creations, are made from either 14k gold-filled wire or sterling silver wire. I got beads from a variety of sources, both on-line and from local vendors. I hope to keep making new jewelry as long as my close vision doesn't get any worse -- ah, the joys of aging.
