Some views inside the dome of the new Reichstag. It's an impressive very modern top to an old traditional building, an appropriate symbol of the new Berlin. From the dome you can look out over all sides of the city, and if you look down through the glass in the center (the circular area in the photo on the left) you can see into the room where the Bundestag meets. The panels around that center tell the story of the history of the Reichstag. The photo below is at the very top, it is an open air opening at the top, adding to the atmosphere of openness which is meant to symbolize the nature of the new Berlin Republic: open and democratic.
