| Hi! That is I on the right, University President
Theodora Kalikow on the left - We are about to climb Sugarloaf Mountain (Maine's second
highest, second only to Katahdin) as one of the optional activities of new Student
Orientation, September 1998. Oh yes - the green?- armbands to help students identifyUMF guides on the mountain that day, as it is a popular climb, and many other people were on the mountain that day. By the way, instead of the climb, some students choose to hike along the Carrabassett River; some chose volleyball or Frisbee; and others hung out at the indoor pool... Sugarloaf is a 40 minute drive from the campus! |
