Hi! That is I on the right, University President Theodora Kalikow on the left - We are about to climb Sugarloaf Mountain (Maine's second highest, second only to Katahdin) as one of the optional activities of new Student Orientation, September 1998.

Oh yes - the green?- armbands to help students identifyUMF guides on the mountain that day, as it is a popular climb, and many other people were on the mountain that day.

By the way, instead of the climb, some students choose to hike along the Carrabassett River; some chose volleyball or Frisbee; and others hung out at the indoor pool...

Sugarloaf is a 40 minute drive from the campus!

illness, disability, grief, bereavement ...

 

Therefore ... I teach, do research, and engage in clinical work, related to disability...

Celebrating the abilities and strengths of people -

as the foundation out of which to base their growth and change ...
