The famous Moulin Rouge, a cabaret strip tease in a rather sleezy part of Paris, though very near the Sacre Couer church. You see in the bottom photo the sex shops and peep shows of this area, the "red light district" with hotels that charge by the hour and rather, uh, interesting people walking around. Many European cities allow activity such as prostitution, strip clubs, etc., but try to keep it in a specific area. The posters (which I did not photograph) in front of the shops show naked and topless women, and people come out and try to talk you into coming and and taking a look at what's going on. By the way, if you haven't seen the movie Moulin Rouge, go rent it. It's really a fun show.
