I've never been that much into going to museums in cities where I only have a few days. Perhaps that's why I chose social science, I like watching the people, observing the culture, and walking the cities. When I lived in Bologna, Italy I would often go on long walks, as much as five or six hours, just observing and soaking up the scenes. But some museums -- the uffizi in Florence, the art museum in Vienna, and the Louvre in Paris -- mix the culture and history of the country with a stunning disply that they can't be missed. To really explore this museum you need a lot of time; we hit the most interesting places and took only a couple hours. But it's a museum that I can see returning to and exploring more of next time.
