Besides the bakeries and shops, of course, Germans love meat. On the left is a typical butcher shop, and you can see that besides the cuts of meat we get in the US, they specialize in various forms of sausage -- Wurst. There are scores of different types of Wurst, and most are quite tasty, even if fatty. As you can see, this particular shop in the Bonn Innenstadt is pretty crowded! The second photo is a typical stand where broasted chickens are sold, rather cheaply.
