                                        REH 340    GROUP PROCESS IN REHABILITATION

 

Principle theories of group process and group counseling as applied to rehabilitation and human services contexts; major cognitive, affective, behavioral, and systems approaches. Application to programs such as self-help groups, family groups, directed education groups, and rehabilitation groups. Prerequisites: REH 200 and REH 310, or permission of instructor.

COURSE POLICY:

* Attendance is required. Absence from class affects grades.

* All assignments are due at the start of class on the due date.

* All requirements must be completed to pass the course.

* Tardy assignments are subject to grade reduction or non-

acceptance.

* Class presentations cannot be made up at a later date.

* All assignments (unless otherwise stipulated) must be typed.

* Students are expected to read assigned articles prior to class.

* Students should be dressed appropriately for class. Please, no

hats.
