Mixed Cats

You really don't know cats until you have at least three of them, because their social interactions are much more complicated than we are led to believe. We have four: Evita, who likes Nana, beats up on Q and treats Hildy as prey; Nana, who can beat up Evita, is deathly afraid of Q and fights even-up with Hildy; Q, who fears and hates Evita, dominates Nana and lets Hildy walk all over her; and Hildy, who runs from Evita but can beat up Nana and utterly dominates Q. Of course there are things that make them come together and overcome their differences: the main one is COLD.

Hildegard and Evita: Hildy would literally fit inside Evita, and we're always worried we'll come home and find them that way.

Nana up top, Hildy in front of Q. Hildy and Q grew up together and really have no sense of personal boundary---as you can see from the next picture.

Evita facing away, Q facing the camera. Cats who hate each other can cuddle together as long as neither one faces the other.
Cats are fascinated by work. What is it? Why do we do it? It must taste really good... or else humans are just weird. Yeah. It's the second one.
