Introduction:
Before writing, always ask who is my reader? It is your audience that will determine writing style, vocabulary, tone, or degree of personal observation. Given this, each writing assignments will have a different rubric and set of expectations.

Description:
Tell us a story (part of your personal narrative) that illustrates an example of how music plays a role in your life. Lots of room to work here--tell us a story you think the musically-obsessed class would enjoy hearing. Yes, you may exaggerate a bit for dramatic effect. Audience: classmates. Style: usually informal, but your choice.
