Gifts from Katya's mother, Luba. Traditional Komi mittens, potatoes and a beet.
The cranberries are from Natasha's (another colleague) mother, Lydia, who lives in Cizyabsk, a Komi village I visited in February.
The cranberries are packed in liter beer bottles with water, and kept in the root cellar.
