Tutorial III
This tutorial covers the "User Defined Function Composition" feature of the Dynamical Grapher for Quadratic Maps.

1. Function 1 is a horizontal shift to the right by 1 unit.

2. Function 2 is a horizontal shift to the right by 2 units.

3. Here we have defined the function "FC" to be F1 composed with F2. In other words, FC(x,y)=F1(F2(x,y)). In this case, FC will be a horizontal shift to the right by 3 units.

4. Curve 1 is the line segment y=0, where x ranges between -1/2 and +1/2. We have selected to graph the images of Curve 1 under F1, F2, and FC.

5. Curve 1 (C1) is shown in black. F1(C1) is shown in red, F2(C1) is shown in blue, and FC(C1) is shown in green.

This ends Tutorial III. For information on the "Probabilistic Function Composition" feature, see Tutorial IV.
