that assists persons with disabilities or who are at risk to function
effectively in their living, learning, and working environments.

Professionals trained in Rehabilitation Services work with persons who experience emotional, mental, physical, or social handicaps.

UMF's Bachelor of Science Program in Rehabilitation Services can prepare you to apply selected counseling, teaching, counsulting, planning, and systems change techniques.
Graduates may enter careers in such fields as alcohol and drug rehabilitation, corrections, mental health, mental retardation, services to the elderly, employee assistance programs, therapeutic recreation, child and family services, student services, residential care, supported employment, and ski instruction and coaching.
